Although a relatively new face in Nashville publishing circles, Defy The Odds Entertainment Group has been embraced by Music Producers, A&R Representatives and Artists. DTO Publishing, a division of Defy the Odds Entertainment Group LLC, was established in 2006 by Stan Karcz and industry veteran Brian Barnett.

Brian Barnett has worked with such artists as Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Hank Williams Jr, Sheryl Crow, Elton John, Tim McGraw, Don Williams and many others. Brian has enjoyed a successful career in the entertainment industry as an accomplished session player, touring musician, songwriter, producer and publisher.

Defy The Odds Entertainment Group is devoted to administering the songs of co-founders and principal writers, Stan Karcz and Brian Barnett.

We have interest in our catalog by Artists such as Mark Chestnutt, Road Hammers, George Strait, Rodney Atkins, Rio Grande, Montgomery Gentry and more.
